I remember growing up and knowing when the adults were talking about something really interesting because they would start talking in Cajun French”

“Makes things a little more interesting. Especially with my background and how far I’ve come. Like as a little girl, and being part of the program and stuff. It’s a cool thing because there’s not a whole lot of tribes so it gives you that uniqueness.”
