“Uncle Hosea was the go-to guy for everything in the black community. He also had the place everyone could escape from their week of troubles [and] hardships.”
What is your favorite memory from the Circuit?
“I can remember all the treats Hosea would have in the Sugar Bowl and how the food was always so good. I can still remember the smells of the kitchen and the beer to this day.”
