Houma, Louisiana
My father was murdered in 1998 at his townhome. A group of individuals broke in through a sliding glass door, robbed the home and waited for him to return from work. When he arrived, he was held at gunpoint, tied up, robbed, beaten and ultimately had his throat cut.

Connection

He was my father.

Memories

One of my strongest memories is going to Disney World with him every summer. My mom and I went with him many times, and I watched Disney World grow over the years because of those trips. Before he died, we had also started discussing business ideas together, which I believe could have been successful.

Reminders

White roses remind me of my father. He loved giving and receiving them, and I even had a white rose included on his gravestone.

Wish I could say

I would want to tell him about his granddaughter, Jade, whom he never got to meet. She reminds me of him in many ways, and I know they would have had a special connection.
