“So my favorite memory in Houma was during Mardi Gras, during one of the parades. During the parades, since no one was out, me, my uncle, and my cousin wanted to go and test out my uncle’s new car. We went down one of the back roads to see how fast it can go, and then we got pulled over. And the cop, holding a beer in his hand, came up to us and was like “Y’all know how fast y’all was going?” and takes a sip of the beer. I thought it was the funniest thing ever because like, I mean, you wouldn’t really expect it but it’s Mardi Gras so no one really cares.”
