Thibodaux, Louisiana
in memory of
[He was] a very close friend.
I grew up with him. Went to school with him. We basically grew up in the same neighborhood so I was seeing him everyday.
His kids, just seeing his kids grow up and seeing them on social media. And just realizing he’s really not here to take care of them.
Sometimes, I’ll reach out and see how they’re doing. [I try to act] as some type of father figure to check up and make sure they’re okay and let them know we still here for you, come out, come talk to me whenever you need me. I try to be there as best I can but I can’t fill his shoes but I try to make sure they’re okay.
If I could say anything, don't go make that money. Leave that money alone.
If he didn’t do that drug transaction I feel like he’d still be here. He was a really good dude, he was a really good dude. I know I said the little drug thing but he really was a good dude. He would do for anybody. He was a very giving person the community. You know, it’s a sad story. You know, it comes with that lifestyle, but he was a good dude, good person to be around.
