So, every year, Grand Isle does a little summer retreat on the island to expose more people to what’s happening and what we should be doing. I’ve also attended multiple conferences at Nicholls to learn about land loss and I think more people should make their way down Grand Isle and these coastal cities and beaches to learn more about it and how it directly affects the people and that community.
